This oneman-project mastered by Jens Rydén, who's mostly famous for handling the shrieking vocals in the Swedish death/black metal monster-band Naglfar, is here set on the loose. For those who thinks Dead Silent Slumber as just another short time "one-album-then-put-to-rest" project can't be more wrong. After some serious considerations, Jens finally ended up with signing the dotted line for Hammerheart Records. Soon thereafter, Dead Silent Slumber entered the highly advanced studio Ballerina Audio, to put the debut album on tape.
Along with sound engineering-master Nils Johansson, Dead Silent Slumber have achieved a killer production. Massive, but still crystal clear, with razorsharp guitars, haunting keyboards and some of the most guttural vocals you'll ever hear. And on top of this, Jens hired some of the absolute top local musicians to complete the album with that little extra touch! Prepare yourself for incredible guitar solos, enchanting female vocals and majestic choirs.
After putting all his time into Naglfar for the last six months, Jens Rydén is midway through writing his new album.
